Our Mini Highland Bulls

White Chondro Positive Miniature Highland Bull

Ghostface Gunner

Every legend starts with a ghost…
Out of the morning mist stepped Ghostface Gunner—our 38-inch white chondro positive Highland bull whose presence is as unforgettable as his name. With his balanced build, flowing waves of snowy white hair, and calm, steady nature, Gunner is the kind of bull that turns mystery into legacy.

But the real magic? Gunner’s calves. Time after time, he stamps them with thick coats, frosty white highlights, and chondro genetics in 80% of pairings. They’re unmistakably his—mini masterpieces carrying his signature markings.

Gentle yet powerful, mysterious yet reliable—Gunner isn’t just a bull. He’s the legend in white, and the sire behind some of the brightest stars of Montana Mini Cattle.

Miniature Dun Tipped Highpark Bull

Frozen Tundra

With a name like Frozen Tundra, you expect something bold—and this bull doesn’t disappoint. He’s all white with striking dun-tipped ears, a color combo that makes him impossible to miss out in the pasture.

Compact, powerful, and wrapped in a thick Highland coat, Tundra is the kind of bull that stamps his calves with hair, structure, and that signature Highland look. At 42” and non-chondro, he brings the big Highland look in a perfectly manageable size.

Cool by name, unforgettable by nature—Tundra is the kind of bull that turns “just another calf” into something extraordinary!

Silver Chondro Positive Miniature Highland Bull

Mr. Boombastic

Boo may have hit the ground at just 18 inches tall, but he was destined to be a standout from the start. He’s silver—a color so coveted in Highlands that it instantly turns heads—and he carries it with a thick, flowing coat that makes him one of the most striking young bulls we’ve ever seen.

The first retained son of our legendary white bull, Ghostface Gunner, and out of our stunning silver Highland cow, Silver Shimmer, Boo combines the very best of both parents. His structure is balanced, his hair is jaw-dropping, and his calm, gentle nature makes him a true joy to handle—just like his sire.

Add in his trademark heart-shaped splash of white on his forehead, and you’ve got a bull who isn’t just memorable—he’s unforgettable. Expected to mature around 38”, Mr. Boombastic represents everything we’re striving for at Montana Mini Cattle: color, proven genetics, docile temperament, and undeniable presence. Look for his calves in 2027!

White Chondro Positive Miniature Highland Bull

Phantom

Every herd has a legend in the making—and around here, his name is Phantom. Born at just 18 inches, this white chondro-positive calf carries the best of both worlds: the calm, balanced strength of his sire Ghostface Gunner and the rare silver beauty of his dam Silver Shimmer.

With his snowy coat, thick Highland hair, and ghostly pale rings around his hooves, Phantom has a presence that’s impossible to ignore. He’s built with balance and confidence, wrapped in a gentle, easygoing temperament that makes him a joy to handle.

Destined to mature around 38”, Phantom isn’t just another bull calf. Powerful, steady, and just a little bit magical, Phantom is already living up to his name.

White Chondro Positive Miniature Highland Bull

Chewbacca

A long time ago, in a pasture far, far away…” — Chewbacca was born!

This pint-sized powerhouse arrived on May 28, 2025, at just 17 inches tall, already rocking a luxurious Highland champagne colored coat with snowy white accents. His name fits him perfectly—he’s soft, fluffy, and impossible not to love.

Chewbacca is chondro-positive, born from our legendary white bull Ghostface Gunner and the lovely Lorelei. With Gunner’s trademark flash and Lorelei’s classic Highland style, this little Wookiee was bound to steal the show.

Destined to mature around 37 inches, Chewbacca is more than just adorable—he’s got the calm, gentle nature we prize in all our Montana Mini Cattle breeding stock. Whether he’s strolling the pasture or striking a pose for the camera, this little bull is a star in the making.

May the fluff be with you.

We have more "little" friends too..

Our days are also brightened by a joyful mix of mini donkeys, mini horses, Nigerian Dwarf goats, and of course, our beloved Golden Retrievers.

This fall, we’re especially excited for the arrival of our first mini donkey foals, bred from our registered Mediterranean Donkey trio: Arthur, Bailey, and Jenny. Foals are expected in late September / early October, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome these long-eared bundles of joy to the ranch!
